Stock Spirits Group is proud to announce that Sierra Tequila Blanco has been awarded a prestigious Gold Outstanding medal at the International Wine & Spirit Competition 2025 (IWSC), achieving a score of 98 points, placing it among the top seven Tequila and Agave Spirits out of 129 entries. The strong performance extended across the range, with Sierra Tropical Chili and Sierra Antiguo Reposado Tequila also earning Gold and Silver medals respectively, as well as three additional Bronze medals awarded across the portfolio.
The IWSC is one of the world’s most respected and long-standing drinks competitions, bringing together expert judges to evaluate spirits through blind tastings. Sierra Tequila Blanco was recognised for its clean and fresh agave profile, clarity and balance of flavour, securing one of the highest scores in its category.
This latest recognition follows Sierra’s success earlier this year at the Tequila & Mezcal Masters, where the brand received five medals across its portfolio, including a Master medal for Sierra Antiguo Reposado. Together, these results reflect Sierra’s consistently strong performance in the global Tequila category and reinforce its position as Europe’s number one Tequila brand, with a presence in more than 90 markets worldwide.
Anne Martin, CMO at Stock Spirits Group said: “Sierra Tequila is a true icon in our portfolio, and the Gold Outstanding medal is a fantastic recognition of its exceptional quality. Achieving one of the top scores in the entire Tequila and Agave Spirits category reflects the passion, craft and consistency behind this brand. We’re incredibly proud of our team and our partners in Mexico.”
