Ledaig 10yo
Ledaig single malt scotch whisky is produced for 6 months of the year in the Scottish distillery of the same name; a location which, founded in 1798 by John Sinclair, is the only one on the island of Mull and is one of the oldest still in operation today.
Produced for the first time in '96, Ledaig boasts an inimitable flavour because the barley malt has been dried only with peat smoke, plus the water - naturally peaty - adds further depth to the aromatic profile of the product, while the barrels used are mostly Hogsheads and Butts ("ex-whisky refill") and finally the maturation takes place on land, in isolated underground cellars in central Scotland.
We distribute this brand under an agreement with Distell International Ltd.
